Meet Sylvie
Sylvie is a wine and hospitality professional from the French Caribbean with more than ten years of experience creating memorable wine experiences worldwide. She began her career at the French Tourist Office which led her to an adventurous career path organizing high-end wine tastings, designing wine tours, and providing sommelier services to wine enthusiasts and collectors in Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States.
Sylvie held several positions in the luxury, hospitality, and wine industries before relocating to Napa Valley, CA where she had the opportunity to work for prestigious wineries such as Dalla Valle Vineyards, Charles Krug Winery, Vintners Collective, Peju Province Winery, Domaine Carneros, Cakebread Cellars, and Two Estates Wine Collective. She is currently the Hospitality Manager and Sommelier at Artesa Winery in Carneros, Napa Valley.
She was awarded the prestigious title “Wine & Culinary Travel Insider” by American Express Travel for her expertise in luxury wine and culinary travel, holds several wine and business credentials, and is a DipWSET Diploma graduate through the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. Sylvie graduated from ESICAD l’École de Commerce in France with a degree in Global Communication Strategy.
In her free time, Sylvie enjoys working on her upcoming eBook "Become an Expert in Sparkling Wine", hosting wine tastings, playing the violin, and traveling to wine regions around the world.
